Oh my god. Joy Reid just told Dr. Fauci she was very worried about "irrationally paranoid" people who... are vaccinated and won't wear masks. She's the irrationally paranoid one!
This is completely insane. It's exactly backward. The people Joy Reid is mocking here are correct! You don't need to wear a mask if you're fully vaccinated! It's completely performative!
Fully vaccinated people are essentially immune from severe disease and death. They are extremely unlikely to contract COVID-19 at all, and thus there's very little chance they would transmit the virus to others.
I'm sorry if you don't want hear this—and why don't you? it makes no sense—but if you're fully vaccinated and you're still wearing a mask when you're walking outdoors, you are engaged in a performative act. Pure safety theater. — Robby Soave, author, Panic Attack via a tweet thread

If, again, climate change was such a grave threat to our existence, and immediate action is necessary, why would you only give up some? Why would you not give it all up? Why wouldn’t you take the totality of the action available to you, with as much ...
Anony Mee: Joe is building a more impoverished populace, a diminished and less robust commercial sector, and a disheartened electorate. Republicans must pound this message home and give this administration a daily beat-down from now until November 2022. It’s the very least Joe’s minions deserve.

Spruce Fontaine: How does one debate with a side that claims with a straight face that the supply chain problems are an indicator that President Brandon has fixed the recession (according to Sec. Buttigieg) or that the $3.5-trillion infrastructure package is already paid for?
